# Subaru Impreza Idle Problem

My son in law has a 2000 Impreza with a standard transmission. He tell me that when he stops sometimes the idle remains high after he pushes in the clutch. The only way he can get it to return to idle is to put the transmission in neutral. Anyone have any ideas?
