After starting car there is a fuel or exhaust {strong} smell. especially on hot days. I have been to the dealer three times to fix this problem. Smell is still very strong. ---

Take it to another Subaru dealer. Or locate the contact info for Subaru corporate in your owners manual and contact them. This is a life/death issue. You shouldn’t have an exhaust smell in any car, let alone a 2018 model. ---

Repeatedly I had the same problem with my 2017 Sub Forester. I mentioned problem to the dealer. Told they could not duplicate. Makes sense. The car was not in a cold start situation. Coincidentally the problem magically disappeared.
