Not sure how to explain this issue. But my stereo (Bose) keeps going from playing on both speakers and then suddenly only playing on the left speaker. Now the right speaker do work if i use the balance setting and turn it to R7 so it only plays on the right but it sounds very bad. Then it will go back to both speakers after a minute or even longer, then switch back to the issue again after a short time.

I started noticing this problem after i had the car on service maintenance that was back in September/October. I havent spoken to them about because my money is not at the top right now… (still a student) Any tips or if someone have had the same problem on a different car and now how to fix it… Any tips i will take!

The car i have is a Mazda6 2012.

Sounds like the radio controls are failing or the right speaker is failing. Replacement may be the only cure.

When you change balance to right only, does the front speaker sound the same as the rear speaker. You have 4 speakers? If both right speakers are bad then I’d say HU. Get a used HU.

An intermittently shorting speaker can cause the right or left channel to shut down. You need new speakers.
