# Steering Wheel

My steering wheel is jerking while I’m driving or just stopped at a red light. It doesn’t do it continuously.

Steering is an important safety item. I suggest you take it straight to a shop and get it checked out.

Is this a power steering vehicle? You may have a problem with the power steering pump. you want to get this checked out. Often there will be a lot of noise when a power steering pump fails, a screeching sound is not uncommon.
