Since I keep my vehicles for at least 10 years, I bought the extended warranty, which in this case is for the lifetime of the car. The most Iād have to pay would be a small deductible.

My limited understanding of this feature is that they use a more robust starter assembly.
But I personally wouldnāt want the feature.
Iām going to try to remember when people post that their batteries keep dying to ask if they have this feature. Older people, like myself, probably make too many short trips and not enough long trips as it is. Exacerbating that by adding a STOP/START system to the equation would seem to have to have some side effects.
