I have a 95 taurus. It runs great until I stop for a light. When I wait for the light to change, it starts to idle rough and stalls.

There are very good odds that you have a bad idle air control valve. The part will run about $90 from Ford, and labor shouldn’t be more than $35. If you want to do it yourself, you’ll find that the repair is VERY easy.

Thanks, I will pick up the part and give it a try.
