I have a 99 Dodge Stratus which has been dying recently. It only happens after the car is warmed up and has been driving highway speed for at least 20 minutes. It does’t make a noise- just stops running and I then have to steer to the side of the road and wait 5 minutes or so for it to start back up. It has a brand-new battery (that’s what my repair guy thought it was first) and a new fuel pump relay (my dad’s idea) but it is still dying. Any ideas?

The problem might be caused from an ignition coil breaking down when it gets hot.

If the vehicle has the V6 engine, look under the intake manifold for the distributor/coil.
