I have a 2006 dodge caravan. This morning, I backed my van into my garage and it stalledin Park before I could turn it off. I started it back up to see if I could recreate the problem… This time, I put it in park, turned it off, and removed the key. It continued to run for 10 seconds and then stalled out. However, the dash lights remained on as though the key were in the “ON” position. Any idea how to fix this?

The electrical connections your key makes are actually on a plastic gear-like mechanism that mounts on the back of the ignition switch. It sounds like that may be coming loose, or the set screws have already fallen out.
