My car has been to the shop twice in the last six months and the mechanic has notified me on both occasions that a squirrel is getting the wiring under my car. I do not have a garage to store my vehicle in. How can I stop them? ---

Perhaps your state’s Department of Agriculture office’s rhodent control experts would have a suggestion. ---

1. Use rat poison 2. Use a glue board near the wires 3. Use traps in the yard 4. Chain your dog to the car 5. Coat wire with petroleum jelly Squirrels are relentless. They will not stop on their own. ---

Get a friend’s dog to mark your car every couple of weeks. Does wonders keeping rodents away.
