The noise began around 2 months ago. It sounds like it is coming from the front passenger side. The squeak gets louder and faster as I drive, but goes away instantly if I apply the brakes, or ride the brakes. The truck does not pull or shake when I brake. (So I am thinking the pads are fine) The noise changes pitch as I drive faster as well, and most people often look up expecting some junker to be dragging a screaming whirly gig down the road. It is a 98 Chevy S-10. 2-wheel drive. Help! Thanks!

Have your wheel bearings checked a.s.a.p.
This is a safety issue, as you can lose a wheel or can get into an accident when the bearing seizes unexpectedly and the truck skids to a halt at an angle.
