I have a 2000 Ford F150 and I have a squeak that seems to be coming from the right side of the truck where the bed meets the cab. It is a high pitched squeak (think like a mouse) and it only happens when I am driving from 10 to 20 mph. But it also happens when I am braking within that 10 to 20 mph range. I have brand new shocks and new front ball joints so I don’t think it is either of those things. The squeak kind of sounds like it is in sync with the tires’ rotation. Any thoughts that could shed some light on this mysterious squeak would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Probably dried out universal joints. Have your driveshaft removed and the u-joints checked and replaced if necessary. Original u-joints are generally not greaseable. The symptoms are classic.

I am going to try limited posi-track greese in the rear diff. because it only happens when I have been traveling long distances and it need to be warmed up to make the noise.
