Cable keeps coming off the back of the speedometer and I fixed it with a tie rap and everthing was ok. As I was driving on the fwy at 65 the speedometer started to go up in speed and I had not change speed. It keep going until it got to 5 an stopped. Then it dropped stright down and no moving anymore. The Odometer is still working and just no speed. Please Help,

Speedometer is broken. There may be someone who can fix it, but your probably better off getting a replacement at a salvage yard. I don’t know of any local shops still around that rebuild speedometers. They’ve disappeared, like buggy whip companies.
