colt, are you an author specializing in “Stream of Conciousness” style prose?
No sir.
But in other words what I just wrote does not make sense?
Then again mayby this disagreement is because my mechanic specializes in old cars. he told me my car is not that old and the recomend by the car talk mentioned he can fix anything the older the better. But as a customer Im experiencing confusion. I feel incomplete on this is why ive continued here. And this mechanic doesnt seem to think me buying a used car for 2k is going to make a difference.
So mayby I should I shoukld keep going to him to see where that road leads? Mayby I should tell him what the body shop said?
If a used 2k car is not going to make a difference then mayby I have nothing to lose by following this mechanic? Id rather have a econo hatchback or wagon but I dont want to waste money either.
Im sorry that I havent been able to make this post the way it shouldve been.
This is just incredible. I said I’d wait till the posts got to page 7-9, and low and behold we have gotten there. Colt is just toying with everyone and asking the same question over and over again to test everyone’s patience.
This is a joke thread. Nothing more.
Page one and two already had the same answer as pages 3-7. This is just hilarious. We keep telling her to save her money and when she can buy another car, that is less of a POS, to do just that, buy it. She keeps coming at it in different angles to re-ask the same question again. She is looking for a different answer.
Guess what? The answer is still the same, put your money together and buy a different car. If you have no money today, gather it and buy it when you do put it together. If you don’t like that answer…then how about this?
Against 7 pages of people telling you to do the exact same thing…I will break from them and tell you to keep this car, dump every dime you have on it. And when the money runs out, put it all on credit cards. There you go, this is the answer you are looking for, fully supported by me.
For the love of all things sacred, please at least ask something different…even if you have to make it up.
So you dont agree with my mechanic. do you feel hes in error or what?
Im Sorry but all the dots arent connecting here.
My intention has NOT been to toy. My intention has been and is clarity/resolution.
I gues I shoul stick with this mechanic and as long as it doesnt get expensive continue with this car until he tells me its time to put her out to pasture.
colt; the advisors on this panel are qualified and will go out of their way to help solve real concerns and problems. Most of us do not have the time to devote to your immature/nostalgic meanderings.
We owned a Colt in the past and it was no different fron any other Japanese econobox. When Chrysler parted company with Mistubishi, Colts became orphans.
If you need a seviceable, cheap car, there are lots around, from older Mazda GLCs, 323s, Proteges, to well cared for Toyota Tercels, and many others. Last year we sold my mother-in-law`s 1994 Pontiac Sunbird (same car as a Chevy Cavalier) for $750 with only just over 40,000 miles on it.
I agree completely with gdawgs.
This 7 pages (and counting) thread is clearly just an exercise by the OP to test everyone’s patience and to determine just how naive we all are.
As I said to the OP several pages ago, he/she is essentially talking to himself/herself and is engaging in relatively pointless Stream of Consciousness posting.
I strongly suggest (again!) that people stop responding, and allow this thread to die a natural death.
I actually meant well but unfortunately Ive made a mess. But thankyou all for your help and inspiration.
I’m locking this thread because it isn’t going anywhere. Colt, I think people have been very patient and generous with advice, but it appears you’re egging people on. If you restart this thread, the next one will not last seven pages.
