I have a 3/4/ t. pickup with a 5 speed manual transmission. My wife has trouble reaching the pedals. Are pedal extenders availible, are they legal? Is there another solution, besides streching her legs?

Yes and yes. Pedal extenders are available, and are perfectly legal.
