I have a Nissan 2000 Sentra GXE model which has 117K miles on it ,two days ago “Service Engine Soon” light came on. With no delays I took it to a mechanic he run the scanner and said it looks like a false alarm to replace Cat converter and rest the light. Is it okay to drive like that or will that be an issue ?

It’s OK to drive. If the light stays off don’t worry about it. If the light comes back on check it out.

Thanks…hopefully it won’t show up again.
