The seat belt light in my 1999 Chevy Prizm stays on blinking all the time, when the ignition is on. According to the owner manual it should go off after I tighten my seat belt. What could cause this problem?. I already checked the seat belt lite fuse, and it is OK. Will appreciate your answer.

Check under the seat for a connector that came loose.

If you have anything on the seat with some weight to it, the light could come on.
