I hear what appears to be some sort of rubbing sound. It seems to be comming from the front of the car. It increases with speed untill road and wind noise over power it, Any Ideas?

Make model year and mileage would be helpful information.

Possibilities include wheel bearings or CV joints, but there may be a hundred possibilities.

Sorry about that! Its a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SLE with 149000 miles. The noise seems to be comming from the right front.
Thanks for the response
