# Ring for your car

Not sure I’d get one. But I do love my ring doorbell.

Looks like it won’t work without WIFI. That would mean no connectivity while parked somewhere unless you left a phone with wifi access in the car.

some cars offer their own wifi hotspot, although, I’m not sure how that would work with the key off…

The $60 per year is for Ring to save the videos in the cloud. The cellular LTE service would be optional cost extra.
