Hello all,

My friend has a 2006 Scion xB with a funny headlight issue. While one headlight is on low beam, the other is on high and they switch when the high/low beam lever is pulled. Anyone have a clue where the problem could lie? Thanks.

Is it possible to plug the bulb in backwards? I can’t imagine they would have made it so you could, but who knows. Has the car been in an accident at all?

No you can’t plug the bulbs in backwards. Yes the vehicle was in an accident and had quite a bit of body work done to the front.

Does it act the same when you use “flash to pass”?

Take it back to whoever did the body work, sounds like they got one of the plugs mis-wired.

Yes it does the same thing.
