# Resettng anti-theft device after replacing instrument cluster

We just replaced instrument cluster and turned the key to on position for 10 minutes. We waited for the anti-theft light to quit flashing and the car runs great but the anti-theft light will not go off. How can I fix this problem?

It is possible that the passlock sensor needs to be relearned

Perhaps one of us knows the procedure offhand?

I have some shop manuals for other GM vehicles, but I’m not sure if the procedure is the same . . .
