Have a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria. Installed a new battery-- now the radio does not work. Just get a humming sound. How do I re-set the radio ?

You find your code and follow the instructions. If you have no code, a dealer may be able to look it up.

if you had a anti thief code set you will need it to unlock radio. if some else owned the car they might have set the code. if not drive to a ford dealer  
if code is set they will have take radio into repair shop.
