So I’m looking to replace the stereo of my 2003 Honda Pilot and this may be a stupid question but do I need some sort of converter to switch a new stereo I picked out with the old one? It just looks like the two have different adaptors for actually plugging into the car and I wasn’t sure if there was something else I needed to make this work.

Thanks

New stereo:

If you use Crutchfield they will supply you with the needed connectors and instructions. Just make sure they know the make/model/etc you’re buying for.

The adapter connector and wires it to the new connector supplied with the radio. Then you plug it directly to th existing car wiring connector. That way the cars wiring stays the same. It comes with the harness from Crutchfield [http://www.crutchfield.com/p\_120701721/Metra-70-1721-Receiver-Wiring-Harness.html](http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120701721/Metra-70-1721-Receiver-Wiring-Harness.html)
