I’m trying to replace a headlight bulb in the old 1992 Legend. However, the battery and the coolant reservoir are in the way, preventing removal of the bulb cover on the driver’s side. Do I have to take out either the battery or reservoir before proceeding? I know how to remove the battery, but not the reservoir.

Usually yes. That’s the only way to gain access to the backside of the headlight assembly.
