2002 acura tl type s need to replace rear view mirror. question i have is how to remove existing mirror. there is a spring latch in the back of mirror and I don’t know which direction Up or down that will unlock it so I can remove it. ---

Have you bought the replacement yet? Typically with these type of parts a good examination of the replacement part will make obvious the process for removing the original. You could also call the dealer and ask. They can look up the “exploded view” drawing and tell you. ---

Thanks, I haven’t bought as yet and will try to call dealer first.
