# Removal of Air Filter Cover - '99 Caravan

For a 1999 Dodge Caravan, after backing out the two screws, how do you pry that plastic air cleaner cover off without permanently bending it out of shape?

The plastic box attached to the top of the radiator support panel is NOT the air cleaner housing. It’s a resonance chamber. Don’t try to open it! You do have to remove the whole assembly though. The air cleaner is located below, and has 2 clips (IIRC) you undo to get to the air filter.
