I have a Chevy Malibu 2005 and the remote car start will not work any more. All it does now is it blinks once does not start. What could it be we check the fuses and we had to change the car batter and the batter to the remote to?

Was it an original equipment starter or an after market (If after market, what make and model?).

Remote starters, especially aftermarket ones seem prone to a lot of failures.
