How do you know if the used car you bought was taken in for all the recalls on file? I have a2008 Nissan Altima which I see was recalled for airbag issues. My passenger airbag light comes on even when a full size adult is sitting in the seat so I am curious if this needs checked into again or if it was done in the first place.

A Nissan dealer should be able to look up the service records based on your car’s VIN. Those records will indicate which recalls were done.
