I rear-ended a ford escort and left a small dent in the bumper (at very slow speeds and I drive a Chevy Trailblazer so the bumpers lined up). I live in SoCal. Could anyone give me an idea of how much this repair should cost?

It depends on how much damage below bumper. However a Ford Escort is an old car not produced for 10 years. I would suspect anywhere from $300-$1000 dependent where you take it and if any thing needs to be replaced. If it is just popping the plastic skin and repainting that is typically under $400.

If this out of pocket get a blue book value on the Escort and don’t pay a penny more than that.
