2008 - 150k + miles

A year ago, the rear DVD/Entertainment center went down. Gets hung up on opening screen, but never plays the DVD. Are there any ideas for troubleshooting this or is it a bad entertainment center and needs replacement? Any lower cost solutions?

THanks

You could try a car stereo installer for possible repair, but I would guess replacement would be the only cure.

As for an option, online sites have many choices less than $150.

There are laser lens cleaners, pretty cheap, \<$10, Try that first. You might be able to replace the unit from one from a salvage yard, that would be the easiest I would think.
