You do know that he is not among us anymore? Not for a couple years and great guy. Good information, helpful research, and never yelled at anyone. He missed his wife terribly when she died. Knew anything you wanted to know about motorcycles. Rest in peace. ---

I do know that. He died a couple of years ago. The picture doesn’t look like it was taken a few day’s ago. IIRC he posted a photo of himself shirtless and that’s what led me to make the post. ---

My 65 impala ss 396 had a small block when I bought it. I never dig into whether it was a real 396 car. You can only go so far by looking at pics. ---

Hemi cars have tweaks to accommodate drivetrain. Leaf spring reinforcements and so on. Yes, my impala had a small block when I got it. Had a 12 bolt posi rear which was not spec’d for non big block cars if I recall. ---

Oops, brain fart, not enough sleep combined with prescription pain killer… lol But in order to know all the options they sometimes use fender tags, Chevy uses a RPO data sticker, most of the time in the trunk under the spare tire cover or in the glove box, check your Vette, it should have one stuck to the glove box or somewhere in the vehicle, that RPO code sticker gives ALL the vehicle specs… Even doing brakes on some basic cars, you need to know what the RPO code is… Here is a pdf file of the codes > **[rpoCodes.pdf](https://rparts-sites.s3.amazonaws.com/dec399b0838336997484042ed2af1004/design/rpoCodes.pdf)** > > 2.54 MB ---
