# Rav4 water pump

I have seen owner reviews online stating that a Rav4 engine needs to be pulled/removed to change the water pump.  
  
  
  
 This will scare me away from purchasing a used 2007 awd Rav4 4cyl.  
  
  
  
 Any mechanics that can confirm either way?
