2001 ranger 2wd coil spring front. Clunk noise in front, the shop I trust so far says both lower control arms must be replaced. It’s a little cheaper to replace arms than for them to replace bushings and ball joints.
The question is should I replace uppers while I’m there?
I will replace the shocks
The truck has 60K miles
Thanks

No reason to do the upper control arms. They last longer than the lowers because the lowers is where the shocks mount. So they take the pounding.
