# Purchasing a Clean Title vehicle with past accidents

If the seller won’t pay for an inspection at a VW dealer, pass on this one. Personally I’d pass without the inspection. There are just too many unknowns.

you want find a seller paying for inspections. If there are 5 people interested in the car and each wants to use their own mechanic (of course), do you expect the seller to pay for all inspections?

Seller paid for the inspection on the vehicle I owned because he was confident in its ability to pass. YMMV

Frankly , if I am selling an old vehicle for 5000.00 or less and someone wants to take it for an inspection I will tell them either buy it or go away.
