Help - the van starts right up and then immediately dies. If I hold my foot on the accelorator, the van will run, but the minute I take my foot off - the engine dies. It was running fine about 3 weeks ago - but it has set for 3 weeks without being used.

Someone needs to check the idle air control valve (IAC). The plug & wiring should be inspected for problems. The valve can also be cleaned and tested. Neither of those things should cost very much. A replacement wouldn’t kill you either, but it needs to be tested before being replaced.
