# Prius surge

Recently I was parking my car when it suddenly surged forward, banging into the wall in front of me. It is possible that I hit the gas instead of the brakes, but that doesn’t fit with all that happened. My questions: has anyone heard of Prius’ surging unexpectedly? Is there anywhere I should report this?

I happens to me all the time when I drive my wife’s dinky little Ford ZX2. My big foot hangs over the brake and can touch the accel pedal at the same time, but not bad enough to hit anything. I have not done it from a stop yet.
