I have a '98 Taurus Se. Both front windows quit working without warning a day a part from each other. The switches on both doors do not work. Could it be bad switches or motors? thanks.

Yes, it could be bad switches or motors. It could also be a blown fuse, a fault in the wiring, or some other problem.

Do the rear windows work? Have you checked the fuses?
