# Popping Noise In Stearing Column

I own a 2008 Mercury Sable Premier. A while back I hit a BIG speed bump while delivering pizza and ever since then I have noticed a slight popping noise coming from the steering column. I can hear it turning the wheel either left or right but only when stopped. I have stuck my head out the window and turned to wheel left and right and can’t hear it at all. I am sure I am the only person who can hear it!!!  
  
  
  
 Is there anything to worry about or am I just going crazy!!
