After having over $400 worth of work done on my car, it still occasionally misfires but nothing like before–not by a long shot. However, now the radiator is leaking & I took it back in to the shop. I am hoping to buy a newer car but need to wait until July (if possible) money-wise. I had PLANNED to keep this old car as a 2nd car because it still rides well, gets better mileage after I had a treatment injector deal done, and has virtually NO rust on it, BUT at what point do you simply decide it’s no longer worth fixing? It cost me $20 a year for personal property tax & less than $180 a YEAR for liability insurance. Is it worth keeping? I have someone who said he’d want first chance at my car if I wanted to sell it. If so, what should I ask for it? I just don’t know.
