He was recommended but I still may have trouble getting him to come back and make repairs if he doesnāt fix it correctly. Iām going to three more shops today for opinions.

Just from this and your other threads plus the age and mileage I think you should take those two opinions as valid. And just how many shops are you going to visit before you make a decision .

As many as it takes. S. Florida is full of incompetent mechanics. Went to a shop today and said I had nothing major to replace but lower ball joints, tire rods, wheel alignment for 390.00. I think I may have them do it!
