I have wondered how it would affect engine life if you didn’t have an oil filter. Especially after changing the cartridge filter on my wife’s Toyota where you can look into the filter pleats each time you change it. Synthetic oil, 5k mile oil changes, and the vehicle is rarely used off pavement. There’s never anything visible in the filter, and as I understand it, some oil bypasses the filter during normal operation anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to stop using the filter, and I’m sure there is material trapped in the filter that I’m not seeing. But, I just wonder how much it would reduce engine life if no filter was present…10%, 25%?
Hey, like I said, it was a bad choice or words and I have edited it. In fact I never had your comments in mind at all. The only point was that there is a price where people succumb to the banking gods. For some it is higher and others lower. But I have never labeled your opinion as “dangerous” or called you a name or “canceled” you. I just disagree some based on my own personal knowledge.
At any rate hope you overcome the medical issue and have a good 2022.
… despite the “coincidence” that you cited the exact dollar figure that I mentioned regarding credit card rebates?
But, being a polite person, I will simply state that your denial is just a bit… questionable… to me.
Thank you for the good wishes.
Whatever. I never looked at who wrote it, just the post.
Whatever…
And now back to our regularly scheduled program. LOL
So sorry to see this.
