# Odometer changed from Miles to Kilometers- How to fix?

How to correct odometer reading back to miles? My 1996 Camry with 180,000 miles on it was suddenly was getting greatly increased MPG. Turns out the odometer is now reading in Kilometers (1.6 for every actual mile driven). How can I get it to switch back?

It should all be in your OWNER’S MANUAL. If it sounds confusing, go to the dealer who can reset it free of charge in one minute flat.
