# NOT OJ's Bronco

Back when the original Bronco came out I had a Scout, which was okay but the IH V8 was a dog. Traded it on a CJ5 with the 304 AMV V8, it had good acceleration but AMC only had a 3PD with the V8, sixes got the 4 speed. The Scout with a real roof, doors, and glass windows was definitely quieter than the Jeep, with the Jeep’s vinyl door&roof, and plastic windows.

As far as styling, I for one, liked the full-size Broncos. But I never read any of the reviews.
