# Noise ("errrrrr") when making sharp turn at slow speed

My 2002 Jetta has developed what I THINK is a new noise. When I turn the wheel far to the left or right while moving (at a slow speed), I hear soft “errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” sound. I’m wondering if something is wearing out in the cv joints? The car has ~ 25k miles on it, so nothing should be worn out yet, but it is five years old.
