> ALL brake light bulbs had blown

In your OP you said you had “ruled out bad bulbs”. What method did you use originally to determine the bulbs were ok? How did you later determine they were bad? Folks here may be able to offer some tips on how to avoid this confusion in the future.

It was my lack of knowledge. I didn’t know that the bulbs were dual filament. They were lighting up with the headlights so I assumed they were good. I learned a few things after this mistake. The BCM and IPM are good.

Since both sides of the rear windows aren’t working I suggest you first make sure power is getting to the control switches on the dash. If you have power there then you need to check the wiring going to the window motors. If you plan on keeping this vehicle for some time then you would be wise to purchase a factory service manual for the vehicle. They are the best help for these kind of problems. Ebay is a good place to find used manuals for a reasonable price.
