# Nissan Xterra 2008 Rear End Noise

New 2008 Xterra rear end (rear differential) ‘clunks’ when letting off the gas while going level or downward. Dealer insists it’s just the way it was built and it is loose or sloppy. We think it’s not performing correctly. Anyone have any information?
