NOTHING to do with the DMV in NY is quick. Go to your local DMV and ask them. That alone will take you 4 hours. ---

Some states can do this instantly at any local DMV office and some states still use archaic procedures involving “You’ll get it in the mail in about two weeks…” New York State, who knows? You could TRY calling them… ---
