car blowing warm air and hissing…dealer said rear condenser needs to be replaced? $1400!?

There are shops that specialize in AC repairs, and they may consider more options than the dealer will - you don’t have to rely on a dealer.

That’s a good way to make the rear passengers suffer. Cut off the air.

The condenser is positioned in front of the radiator.

The evaporator is positioned in the rear.
