Anyone have any idea how much it should cost to get a clutch replaced on a '98 Corolla?

The only good way to find out is to call around and ask the guys who will do the job for you. Prices may vary from maybe $500 to maybe $1000. Depends where you live for example.

Call a couple of mechanics and get estimates.
