New car advice from the car-o-sphere

When I was shopping for a used Sonata, I noticed used Hybrid Sonata’s are very cheap, could get them for $500 more than the regular ones with comparable miles/etc. I do not know much about their reliability and in my case, I do most of the repairs and a teenager is also going to use the car, so complicated technology is probably not the best idea, but if anybody like a midsize hybrid, this one is worth a look/research.
