Hey All,

Hope someone can help. I have a '02 Toyota Highlander (4 cyl.)with power windows. At totally random times the driver’s side window rolls itself down after I slam the door and walk 2 or 3 steps away. I can find no obvious reason for this and I can’t recreate it. Winter is coming and I would like to solve this before I come out some morning and find the car full of snow!

 Any suggestions?

Stop slamming the door!

Seriously, the problem is most likely in the window switch. Your door slam is hard enough, now and then, to make a connection in the switch and the window rolls down.

A new switch might help.
